By my research this is a 1925 manufacture. Originally a long gun is my guess. Can't find any bomb proofs or police marks, but was sold to me as a police station gun. Small bead site hardly seen when looking down the barrel as it should be. Was not a hack job, was a gunsmith job or factory, but never wrote to winchester to find out exactly the specs when it was shipped. Fully functional. Blue is about 65 to 70%. Metal buttplate. Hardware is good. Sling comes with. Bore is very shiny. Cycles shells just as it should. Has an "E" over the serial number. Serial number starts with 7 and is six digits ending in 511. Matched numbers to barrel and breach. Great home defense weapon or cowboy action. No returns as this gun functions and has been described as it is exactly.
