Description:

This S&W "Bicycle", A scarce and highly collectible New Departure, was manufactured in 1940, which was the very last year of production.

This piece retains ninety percent of the original factory nickel finish. Light patches of oxidation can be seen around the barrel, the bore and cylinders are not affected, nor are the internal components. 

The metal remains in excellent condition, there is a single light mark beneath the muzzle and a few scattered nicks at the butt.

This piece shows perfectly clean and bright bore having deep lands and grooves, along with bright cylinder chambers.

This, combined with the condition of the "new" internals, indicates this "Bicycle" has been fired very little.
