Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight - 16 Ga. Pump Shotgun - Checkered pistol grip style stock and grooved slide forend with butt plate in very good condition. Hammerless take down design originated by John Browning initially as the Remington model 17. The unique bottom load / ejection port coupled with a light weight alloy receiver helped Ithaca to set new standards for pump shotguns. 28 In. long barrel, full choke with bead sight. 4 round tubular magazine. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90 % bluing. Includes anew soft sleeve. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. Overall condition is excellent . Doesn't appear to have had much use. Manufactured in 1953. Very nice addition to any collection.
