This Colt Detective is in pristine condition, as is its numbered box and test target from 1937.
This is about as good as they ever come, including the perfect box and papers.

The bore and all the cylinders are bright and clean, the bore shows strong lands and grooves without frosting or carbon fouling.
The timing is perfect, as is the lock-up. No end-shake. Bluing is full, barely showing a turn-line.

For the serious Colt collector, this is one not to be missed.
