Listing is for ONE set of grips. Here are faithful, traditional replacement grips for Smith & Wesson Centennial Series Revolvers, models 40 and 42, manufactured from the early 1950s until the mid 1970s. They will NOT fit any other J frame revolvers, just the older models 40 and 42 manufactured before 1975 and serialized L9999 or lower. Manufacturer was Herretts Stocks of Twin Falls, ID. Exclusive distributor is Robertson Trading Post. Construction is entirely American Walnut with steel screw and escutcheon, and with nickel plated medallions. Type is High Horn magna style, with flat butt portions. Finish is smooth surface with glossy lacquer finish. They are correct enough, attest the attractiveness of our 1973 model 42 whose grip frame appears in some of our photos.
