Named model is Iver Johnson Target, so marked on the top strap, and numbered model 57 / Pat. Pend. Production of ran from 1957 until 1960. J12000 range serial = 1959 or 1960. Steel metal with one piece composite polymer grip. Barrel is 2 3/8 inches. Sights are screw on ramp front with pinned in blade; and windage and elevation adjustable rear. Roll out cylinder, with pull pin for ejection but also a right side gate for loading purposes. Cylinder recess for disassembly and reassembly. 8 rounds of .22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle. Traditional single and double action revolver with transfer bar. .305 serrated trigger & .382 hammer. Trigger is .305 serrated face, with .382 serrated spur hammer. 26 oz empty. Brushed blued frame, barrel and cylinder, and color casehardened hammer and trigger. Glossy brown polymer grips. Surface detractions are moderate, principally lateral holster wear on the barrel and cylinder. We rate as Very Good 80%, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, cylinder chambers are bright and clean. We estimate fired 1000 times.       Transferable to C&R Holders and Californians as a Curio / Relic due to its age. Not transferable to non-C&R Civilians in Massachusetts.
