Are Firearms Good or Bad? – Prof. Bret Weinstein on the 2A

News Wire Uncategorized

Dr. Bret Weinstein appeared on the PBD podcast last week and talked about a variety of hot-button issues.

During the interview, the subject of firearms popped up. PBD essentially asked Dr. Weinstein whether guns have been, on balance, a boon for society.

“This is one of these places where I have changed my perspective,” Weinstein began.  “I long believed that the 2A was the greatest error in our Constitution.  I no longer believe that. And that doesn’t mean I look past all the terrible unnecessary carnage that arises because guns are easily available.”

“But I’m watching tyranny erupt in places I never would’ve expected,” he continued.  “And I am wondering if the founders did not very wisely understand that this day would come.  And that it would be very hard for tyrants to succeed in America if the populace is armed.”

California has the highest restrictive firearms laws, gun control isn’t working there or in the middle east where gun control is also very restrictive, unless your illegally possessing one, two or three. Lol.

The problem is, our forefathers didn’t anticipate having such idiots that don’t have any morals in our society.

It’s not because firearms are easily available. It’s because we coddle criminals and give them target rich killing fields. The people are NOT the problem!!!
Never trust government or the swamp dwelling politicians that serve it!!!
