Defensive Use of Firearms

A mentally unwell stalker drove through the gates of actress Jennifer Aniston’s home this week before security personnel stopped him and called police.

The dad thought the warehouse gunman might shoot the children next. He pulled out a gun of his own and shot Leyva, effectively stopping the shooting. 

Police are still investigating, and no charges have been filed against the homeowner. It looks like a textbook case of self-defense under Texas law.

The San Bernardino County homeowner shot at the burglars, hitting two, before they fled. The burglars left the scene in a white sedan. 

Minutes later, she posted again. “I’m covered in blood but only some of it is mine I’ll update yall later but I’m safe now.”

A Houston homeowner called her father and an off-duty neighbor for help Monday night when an intruder refused to leave.

The terrifying moment, caught on home security footage, shows Nevers exchanging gunfire with an armed intruder who broke into his house in the dead of night.

A town in Texas witnessed multiple shootings in one night last week, resulting in at least two people injured. 

The homeowner confronted the two intruders. They had pried open a window and were climbing through when he found them.
