Comedian Louis C.K. is in hot water for some jokes he made while performing at a comedy club last month.

During his now infamous set that was leaked online by TMZ, Louis poked fun at genderqueers and Parkland students who’ve leveraged their survivor status to agitate for tougher gun control.

“I don’t know,” said Louis with respect to anti-gun activists like David Hogg and Emma Gonzalez. “They testified in front of Congress, these kids. Like, what the fuck. What are you doing? You’re young. You should be crazy. You should be unhinged, not in a suit saying, ‘I’m here to tell’ … fuck you.”

“You’re not interesting cause you went to a high school where kids got shot,” Louis continued. “Why does that mean I have to listen to you? How does that make you interesting? You didn’t get shot. You pushed some fat kid in the way and now I got to listen to you talking?”

Prior to the Parkland jab, Louis talked about non-binary people who want to be addressed with plural pronouns.

“Oh, okay. You should address me as ‘there’ because I identify as a location,” C.K. joked. “And the location is your mother’s cunt. It doesn’t have to be that nasty, but it can be.”

Both bits received applause and laughs from those attending the show (You can listen by clicking on the video below in Watts’ tweet). The same cannot be said for the politically-correct denizens of the Twitterverse, who wasted no time lambasting Louis.

“Imagine thinking the best way to resurrect your career after admitting to sexual misconduct is to mock trans people and Parkland gun violence survivors,” said Shannon Watts, the founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America in a tweet.

Watts was referencing Louis’s masturbation scandal, where he admitted, in 2017, to touching himself in front of fellow female comedians after asking their permission to do so.

“At the time, I said to myself that what I did was okay because I never showed a woman my dick without asking first, which is also true,” C.K. wrote in a statement to the NY Times. “But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your dick isn’t a question. It’s a predicament for them. The power I had over these women is that they admired me. And I wielded that power irresponsibly.”

Louis may be a sexual deviant but he is also still a comedian. You know, “an entertainer whose act is designed to make an audience laugh,” as the dictionary defines it. Had no one laughed in that audience maybe those triggered on Twitter would have a valid point that Louis crossed a line or went too far or was just unfunny. But from the sounds of it, Mr. C.K. was effectively doing his job.

Joke ‘em if they can’t take a fuck! If you don’t care for dark humor, stay away from the military. Without an outlet, the soldiers would go nuts. Dark humor has always been a part of dangerous occupations. In later life, as a postal worker, one of our jokes was “What does it mean when we fly the flag at half-staff? We’re hiring!” These people need to get over themselves.

I don’t think its funny when anyone dies in whatever situation whether its texting, plane crash, car accident, etc. but what I really find offensive is the media and a few individuals looking to cash in on tragedy. Millions of dollars were sent by Hollywood to the protesters, why didn’t that money go to victims and families? Wheres all the media and show biz people when the young girl was killed by a drunk driver in front of our home, sorry, doesn’t go with the lefts agenda, If we could save just one life, really? many hundreds could be saved if they focused on real issues.

CK is a comedian, some think he is funny. He and Amy Schummer are both foul mouthed nothings. Comedian’s can choose to use anything in their material and some element of society will think it is funny, others not so much. In the later case, don’t listen to them or pay to see them. The require no explanation or apology for what they do, it is free speech. Grow up and shutup.

In America, we’ve historically dealt with tragedy through humor. An appropriate amount of time has passed and he was funny. And comedians have always targeted groups, whether they’re Polish, White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, truck drivers, attorneys, politicians, LGBTQ, whatever. It’s what comedians do. Let the market judge him. If enough people don’t find him humorous and don’t attend his shows, he’ll be an unemployed comedian. If, on the other hand, people continue to attend his shows, the critics should shut up after they apologize.

Yeah right, what’s the matter with mocking survivors of mass shootings just because they speak out?. Golly. Heck, the Sandy Hook parents deserve the bile thrown at them! How dare they complain about what they perceive as permissive gun laws. Who asked them for their opinion? Oh, their children were murdered in school…, but still. It appears the author here thinks whipping out your penis to masturbate in front of women is ok because he first asked for permission? My, my…

Just relax Nick. He’s referencing one mass shooting and it’s not Sandy Hook. Many people are fed up with the so-called survivors like hoge who wasn’t even at the school when the shooting took place but claims to be a “survivor”. Because he may have been enrolled there doesn’t make him a survivor. Obviously people get emotional but “permissive gun laws” have nothing at all to do with the mass shooting if you have followed the story at all you would know this. Perhaps you prefer to bury your head in the sand and don’t want to see the truth??

Well done. After wading through that comment I had the identical thoughts.

CK does have a Point, not only did they probably hide behind other victims, they probably bullied the guy that did the shooting. That Hogg guy looks like every bully nonfictional and fictional, plus he looks like the president of the debate club/young republicans that’s just cashing in on this to run for office one day. I mean what next that ogre guy from the revenge of the nerds telling us that we need to accept “common sense” gun laws to protect him?

I mean.. if they gave you permission then why not, right?

This whole situation is dumb. Democommies and libertarian morons can judge and spew bile whenever they see fit.. How many times have we heard 9/11 come up in joke form? How about all these fucks that talk about assassinating government officials because they disagree with them (not policy, but persons)? Screw that.. We as a nation use humor to deal with tragedy. It’s how it works. Fuck their feelings.
