Gerber, the legendary knifemaker, has released an innovative take on the popular lightweight utensil sets favored by ounce-conscious backcountry hunters called the Compleat. It weighs in at less than 2.5 ounces and includes a fork, spoon, spatula, tongs, can opener and peeler. The tools are friction-fitted together when not in use for ultimate space saving.

The utensils are long enough, like the popular sporks that backpackers love, to get to the bottom of a Mountain House, or have some serious gripping power for those fresh backstraps when turned into tongs. The handle of each tool has a stamped design so you don’t have to pull off your gloves on those cold mountain nights. The utensils are sturdy- feeling and come with Gerber’s Limited Lifetime Warranty, with proper use and care this should be a long-lasting tool in any hardcore hunter’s backpack.

The Compleat will be available in February and has an MSRP of 28.00.  For more information, visitGerber.com

. Gerber did good on this one. Looks like a “bug out bag” essential.
