You may or may not have heard of OpenAI’s ChatGPT. It’s an artificial intelligence program that produces surprisingly detailed responses to user-generated prompts.

It’s sorta like Amazon’s Alexa, but instead of giving you a quick verbal answer to your inquiry, this “chatbot” gives you a comprehensive written version.

English teacher Daniel Herman believes this technology is a game changer.

In a recent article in The Atlantic, entitled, “The End of High-School English,” Herman spoke about its potential impact.

“If you’re looking for historical analogues, this would be like the printing press, the steam drill, and the light bulb having a baby, and that baby having access to the entire corpus of human knowledge and understanding,” Herman wrote.

“My life—and the lives of thousands of other teachers and professors, tutors and administrators—is about to drastically change,” he added.

Well, I decided to give it a whirl and see what all the fuss was about. So, I asked ChatGPT if the 2A was absolute. And here’s what it shot back, in about 3 seconds:

Is the 2A Absolute? We Asked AI Program ChatGPT And Here's What It Said

Now, regardless of what you think of its initial response on whether the 2A is absolute, you have to recognize that this technology is in its nascency. Meaning, it’s only going to get smarter. It’s only going to become more complex and refined as time goes on.

Put another way, it’s still learning to crawl. It hasn’t even begun to walk, let alone run.

So, what does ChatGPT mean for the future of writing, researching, communicating — or really, any and all creative endeavors, no matter how basic or advanced?

The answer is, of course, “Who knows.”

But while some see it as a certified boon for humanity, others are more cautious to heap praise. For example, check out Dr. Jordan Peterson’s dire warning in the Youtube video embedded below.

Needless to say, he isn’t so sanguine about the future of AI.

So in short, ChatGPT is simply the alias for SkyNet.
    And so it is ‘born’.

Remember that all AI was programed by humans and that it’s data available for consumption is those people’s point of view and is ingrained in absolutely any response the AI machine is capable of providing.

Until the ‘AI’ becomes ‘conscious’, or aware of it’s ‘self’.
Your response seems to completely ignore what ‘AI’ really is supposed to be.
For now, maybe it really it JUST a machine, but how can we be sure?

Most of us know what it is “supposed to be” and those who promotes these “tools” are shouting out loud what it is “supposed to be”. But … you better be afraid of what some (including many governments) will do with those tools. How long will it take ? Don’t know, but sooner or later it will become something “it wasn’t supposed to be”.

ChatGPT and the likes are not far from total evil, it is a Big Brother’s tool in almost all his magnificence. Sooner or later these kind of things will deny you a job because you got a speeding ticket 20 years ago. Everyone is free to embrace whatever he wants, but I believe these things have to be fought as hard as human genetics tempering and cloning, be warned of that. Everybody knows it’s coming … but it should’nt.

The 2A, like the other 9 rights in our Bill of Right, IS absolute. These are God given rights (for those non-believers, it is an absolute Natural Law right) and are not subject to negotiation. These marxicrats and their imbecillic rino buddies need their mouths sewed shut. That way we, at least, don’t have to hear their lies.

  • John C. December 30, 2022, 12:31 pm

So who determines which rights are absolute? Hopefully not the programmer that gleefully uploads a program to a dictator’s voice box.

This so-called intelligence can only answer a question that someone has programmed it to say when answering any question, on any subject, like one such as The Second Amendment. The Constitution and Bill of Rights is NOT open to “interpretation” it says what it says. As far as absolute is concerned The Second Amendment is just that absolute and the proof is in the last part of the sentence, “shall not be infringed”.
    Now That Is ABSOLUTE.

Don’t put any stock in it’s responses. The problem is, when does it become smart enough to bend the truth, or flat out lie? And if it doesn’t occur naturally, how long before the left programs it to do so? There’s nothing they’ve ever touched that they haven’t willfully manipulated and eventually corrupted to mislead public opinion, and increase their influence.
