Biden Tells Michigan Construction Worker He’s ‘Full of Sh*t’ After Being Called Out on 2A

Authors Current Events Jordan Michaels This Week

Likely Democratic presidential nominee and 12-gauge shotgun owner Joe Biden made headlines yesterday after he told a Michigan construction worker he’s “full of shit” in a heated interaction about the candidate’s stance on the Second Amendment.

Biden had been touring an auto plant under construction in Detroit when he was approached by a worker named Jerry Wayne, who accused the candidate of “actively trying to end the Second Amendment.”

“You’re full of shit,” Biden responded as one of his female aides tried to disengage him from the conversation.

But Biden shushed his aide and continued what would become a garbled, inarticulate, and often misleading defense of his stance on firearms.

Asked on Fox News whether he bought Biden’s arguments, Wayne wondered how the candidate could claim to be defending blue-collar jobs while attacking constitutional rights.

“I also asked him how he wanted to get the vote of the working man when a lot of us, we wield arms. We bear arms and we like to do that. And if he wants to give us work and take our guns, I don’t see how he is going to get the same vote,” Wayne said.

“He doesn’t need to touch anybody’s weapon at all. What we need to do is we need to concentrate on teaching people how to respect firearms and how to use them – not take them away,” he continued. “This is a right that we need to protect with our heart and soul. It’s not to be infringed.”

Biden adamantly denied saying that he wanted to take guns from American citizens, and his official campaign platform does not include a “mandatory buyback” policy for so-called “assault weapons.”

But Biden did vow to let radical anti-gun activist Robert “Beto” O’Rourke run his administration’s gun control agenda, and the former Texas Congressman famously said during a debate, “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47.

Wayne also referenced a viral interview with Anderson Cooper in which Biden said he wanted to confiscate guns from Americans. Biden supporters claim the candidate’s statements were taken out of context, but the full interview transcript suggests otherwise.

COOPER: So, to gun owners out there who say, well, a Biden administration means they’re going to come for my guns?

BIDEN: Bingo. You’re right if you have an assault weapon. The fact of the matter is, they should be illegal, period. Look, the Second Amendment doesn’t say you can’t restrict the kinds of weapons people can own. You can’t buy a bazooka. You can’t have a flame thrower.

Biden tried to walk back his statements later in the interview by acknowledging there’s “no legal way” to confiscate firearms that were legally purchased. However, in the same sentence, he reiterates his desire to “take them… out of the possession of people.”

BIDEN: Right now, there’s no legal way that I’m aware that you could deny them the right to have purchased (ph) — legally purchase them. But we can in fact make a major effort to take them off the street and out of the possession of people.

Biden made several additional gaffes during his statements in Detroit, and his arguments were often difficult to unravel.

He referred to “AR-14’s” at one point and couldn’t answer why he wanted to ban “assault weapons” but not handguns. He also asked Wayne repeatedly “Do you need 100 rounds?” but failed to clarify whether he meant “Do you need to own 100 rounds?” or “Do you need a magazine capable of holding 100 rounds?”

In one of his primary arguments, he asked Wayne about the legality of machine guns and said that AR-15s should be illegal in the same way. His point (apparently) was that since machineguns are rarely used in crime, a ban on “assault weapons” would render them similarly innocuous.

But machine guns aren’t illegal, and Biden’s platform wouldn’t make AR-15s illegal. It would require them to be registered with the NFA using the same process by which machines guns (made prior to 1986) can be purchased and owned.

In addition, rifles of any kind are rarely used in crime as it stands. Even though there are as many as 17 million “assault weapons” in the United States, rifles were only used in 2 percent of all homicides in 2018.

After Tuesday’s primaries, Biden has taken a commanding lead in the 2020 Democratic presidential race. He currently holds 860 of the 1,991 delegates he needs to win, and experts believe he has a clear path to the nomination.

Biden is certainly not pro gun (or pro 2nd amendment for that matter), but even so, I don’t think he is trying to take our guns. Harris is a different story, and frankly she is not qualified to be in any role which gives her the authority to implement public policy.

The bigger issue is that these politicians are simply doing what they think will get them the highest approval ratings with the public as a whole, but it’s all just a fallacy. Any reasonably intelligent person (rep or dem), will understand that guns are not the root of the issue. Taking guns away from the public will have little to no effect on gun violence and may actually cause an increase in crime numbers. The problem is that most of the proposed gun reforms only will be effective against lawful gun owners who are not the ones committing the gun violence.

Murderers, bank robbers, etc., don’t care if a certain type of rifle or handgun is banned. They are not buying guns legally in the first place. If a criminal is intending on doing some harm, do you think they care that it’s a gun free zone or they are carrying a banned firearm? Of course not.

What really needs to be done is cracking down on illegal firearms trafficking. Need far stronger penalties for trafficking and possessing illegal firearms. Also (and I hate admitting this one), there is also another area that stricter controls may be appropriate, gun storage. Many law abiding gun owners are lax on properly securing their weapons. While guns will always be stolen (there is no way to prevent that), stricter requirements on gun storage would at least help prevent some gun tragedies performed by kids and mentally challenged individuals who would have not otherwise been able to access a firearm like a true criminal would. This is a far more reasonable form of gun control than complete bans or buy backs which have been repeatedly shown to be ineffective.

Yes, it’s still a hassle for those of us who are pro 2nd amendment people, but we live in different times and it’s just an unfortunate consequence of the world in which we live. I am not willing to have my right to bear arms abridged, nor will I support nonsensical bans of weapons which will have little to no effect on gun violence or regulations which are likely to make little real world difference. Not to mention, other than a few very public, but very isolated incidents, the type of guns they want to ban are NOT the type of guns used in 98% of the gun violence incidents.

So, in sum, the anti-gun people need to get over their emotionally driven quest to restrict lawful gun ownership in anyway possible, and lawful gun owners need to acknowledge the hefty responsibility that comes from owning firearms, and need to support or even propose certain forms of gun control which are likely to have an impact rather than flatly rejecting any form of gun regulation.

O-Biden says – “Look, the Second Amendment doesn’t say you can’t restrict the kinds of weapons people can own. You can’t buy a bazooka. You can’t have a flame thrower.”

1st. we are not talking about bazookas or flame throwers and 2nd. The 2A clearly states “shall not be infringed” – that means what it means! Although O-Biden thinks he his King George!

    Geezerfest 2020.

    BIDEN…SANDERS…TRUMP…

Hopefully Covid-19 will get all of them.

  • Ed March 13, 2020, 11:21 am

My understanding of the exchange is that Biden is advocating the 10-round magazine rather than taking guns away. I think Biden isn’t stupid to think he or any other politician can succeed with a platform about taking guns away from Americans. It isn’t going to happen. That’s why in part Beto O’Rourke got knocked out of the race as early as he did.

    • Kane March 14, 2020, 12:37 am

Oh, thanks, you have allayed all my concerns with O’Biden and the apparent bluffs and gaffs he constantly makes towards the 2A.

    • James Smith March 14, 2020, 8:53 pm

Ummm , Ed , Biden has said , Specifically , he will make Beto – his “Gun Czar” . And we ALL know Beto’s stance on guns ….

  • Jordan sutich March 13, 2020, 10:27 am

Plain and simple. Do t vote for him! These politicians think they can do and say whatever they want. Were the boss, not them. We have a responsibility to make sure we save these rights for ourselves, our children and loved ones. I hope he sees the error in his ways.

  • Awesome Bill from March 13, 2020, 10:26 am

A reporter really needs to challenge Biden to get screened for dementia/Alzheimers and release the results to the public. Americans need to be assured that a vote for Biden isn’t really a vote for his VP when he’s declared senile.

  • Mikeyd March 13, 2020, 9:50 am

“Bingo” You just lost a bunch of votes dude.
Spoon feed us some more brilliant ideas.

Creepy Sleepy Quid Pro Joe has lost his mind. He will be dem POTUS candidate with Hillary as running mate. The plan will be to put ole Joe away and let Hill’s assume Presidency. TrumpPence2020

  • thomas jefferson March 13, 2020, 7:47 am

Mr. Biden needs to be committed to a mental health facility for his own safety. The dementia has set in deep. Joe doesn’t even know what the day is, where he is, or what he is. It will only get worse. With proper medical care, he may prolong the inevitable somewhat, but in the end, we all die.

  • Tim March 13, 2020, 6:43 am

This just shows what an idiot Biden is. He has no idea what he’s talking about and it doesn’t matter because he’s not the one that will be in control. Does anyone remember the comment he made about voting early and often?

I can also tell you from what I have seen in the last 10 years as an union member. The majority of members no longer support the democratics. This has more to do with Obama than Trump. Due to the democratics choice of leadership they are moving closer and closer to the fringes and farther away from mainstream America.

    • Mikeyd March 13, 2020, 10:05 am

It takes some nads to stand in front of union members and ask for their vote while proposing an agenda to shut down our energy sector that employs millions of open shop and union building trades jobs. I don’t get that one unless I have dain bramage. Remember the steel mills moth balled, the auto industry moving to other countries, the outsourcing of our jobs to foreigners and NAFTA? That was under Obama/Biden.

      • Tim March 15, 2020, 12:16 pm

Exactly. I see very little support for democratics coming from the building trades these days. The sit down that President Trump had with the union leadership in his fitst few days in office got a lot of people attention. Also that Iron Worker made a very good point. He said that he was an American the vast majority of us will choose America over the Unions.

Every time poor old demented Joe opens his mouth, he proves how demented and senile he is.
” BIDEN: Right now, there’s no legal way that I’m aware that you could deny them the right to have purchased (ph) — legally purchase them. But we can in fact make a major effort to take them off the street and out of the possession of people.”
That is a total contradiction, and makes no sense at all, but almost nothing he says makes any sense.
He is embarrassing himself, and his party, and if he was my grandfather, I would take away his car keys to protect himself and other drivers on the road.

He wants to take our AR-14s… LOL
He does not even know what State he is campaigning in, or what office he is running for, so how can he even be running for any office at all?
There is obviously no vetting for mental fitness for candidates, and that is truly scary!

    • Alex March 13, 2020, 10:05 am

He is what all D’ candidate for anything much above dog catcher are, paid lackeys of WEALTHY, TRUST FUND types. Same for most R’s, especially rinos. They hate Trump because they don’t have a control file on him.

Pedo Joe would be like Woody Wilson all over again. An empty suit and skull led around by who ever his handler is. Mike Cernovich on twitter posted a great video of him in Iowa last month showing some lady litterly leading him around by the arm much like you would a demtia addled senior who would get lost on his way back to the car.

I love the freedoms the US Constitution provides us all! I love the fact that our founding fathers placed our gun rights 2nd only to our freedom of speech!

I think the foregoing statements are important to make before I mention that I planned to vote for anyone the Democrats end up nominating as their 2020 candidate when two of the most openly gun grabbing candidates we’ve ever seen (“Beto” & Bloomberg) were both still in the race. The only reason for this remarkable inconsistency between my support for the 2nd amendment and my 2020 voting plans belong entirely to the national disgrace that is the 45th POTUS! When the GOP nominated that clown back in 2016 they may as well have taken a giant collective dump on the graves of both of my grandparents that served the US Army during Wold War II. Allowing an orange painted joke who barely even tries to hide his obvious allegiance to Vladimir Putin to hold the title of Commander in Chief should be an embarrassment to anyone who has ever served the greatest military in the world.

The 2nd amendment is NOT going anywhere regardless of whoever becomes the 46th POTUS… You shouldn’t allow irritation fear to prevent you from using your vote this November to help remove the national cancer that is our 45th POTUS!!!

    • Brian Bartos March 12, 2020, 8:31 pm

I guess that your forefathers fought for the commies then because democrats are advocating nothing but utter Marxist socialism. I don’t care for Trump personally but he has done a great job as potus and would do even more good things for all Americans if the socialist democrats would get out of the way. A piece of advice quit listening to mainstream media and do your own research. The msm is wrong 85% of the time.

      • Ricky B. March 13, 2020, 4:08 pm

        Hi Brian,

As I said, two of my grandparents served in the US Army during WWII and helped saved the world from fascism. The only way in which the US Army could possibly be associated with “commies” is the fact the current “Commander in Chief” is a soviet stooge who openly stands with Vladimir Putin when he routinely attacks and belittles our own federal intelligence services.

    • Mike March 13, 2020, 4:58 am

People like you with the name calling are a great part of Americas problems. You have a senile old woman as head of Congress who cant put a 4 word sentence together, you have Biden who can’t remember when or if he pooped today with mental challenges, then you have the Socialist Mr. Bernie who wants everything you ever worked for given to the masses that never have worked and riding on his dumb ass promise of Vote the Bern and I will rule and starve you like a true Socialist . If your hungry, look for a trash can, dirty? Go swimming. Your hate of Trump is pathetic also I would bet you can’t show me one fact or proof that Trump has done anything wrong. Not heresy but absolute facts. Even the impeachment was a Democratic grab after Trump upset Hillary in 2016. There’s absolutely no way we will stand by and let some rich politicians destroy this nation. Remember a well armed militia is better than living in a Communist world.

You’re almost as bad at reading & comprehending the English language as you appear to be at math.
You shouldn’t feel too bad about that though buddy… I know that type stuff is challenging for most Trump supports.

    • Bob March 13, 2020, 9:25 am

      Ricky B,

If you do not comment here people will not know how truly ignorant you are. That’s just a little future advice you should heed. Your criticism of President Trump includes absolutely no specifics on why you think he is a disgrace. You are an irrational clown who now needs to get off your mother’s computer as you have displayed your deep seated ignorance. Now don’t go away mad, just go away.

I will be cancelling out your vote in November.

      Have a nice day chump!!

      • Ricky B. March 13, 2020, 4:12 pm

        Hi Robert,

I appreciate the advice bro, thanks! My mom was never too good with computers back when she was still alive but, unfortunately, she passed away over a decade ago.

After well over 3 years of all the nonsense that Donnie Jonnie the douche Trump routinely spews like a teenage girl on her favorite “social media platform”, there are too many examples of what makes that clown such a disgrace to the United States for me to list here… Your attempt to pretend like you have absolutely no idea what I’m referring to is disingenuous at best.

That’s a cute little phrase “don’t go away mad, just go away”… Ouch, sick burn there bro! Are your insults usually stolen from gay pop songs?

You have a wonderful weekend, my friend!

    • Higgs Boson March 13, 2020, 9:41 am

JFK was a Democrat. I used to be a democrat until Jimmy Carter was elected. I quickly learned from my mistake.
We tolerated that muslim sock monkey for 8 years and he did such a wonderful job of dividing this nation further than 1860. He even got gender neutral bathrooms! Wow! What a legacy! I think the current collective IQ of all demoncrats that hate this Nation and The President is equal to a cold day. The only contribution democrats make to this planet is giving off carbon dioxide for plants. If this steps on anyones toes, I didn’t put your feet there…

      • Ricky B. March 13, 2020, 4:14 pm

Ok, I sense just a little bit of racism here Higgy… Are you a racist?

You don’t got to worry about stepping on my toes though… I think it’s safe to assume you’ve got really small feet, so you can jump up & down on my toes all day like a trampoline and I doubt I would even notice you were there.
