Smith & Wesson unveiled a new model 1854 at NRAAM 2024. Announced just yesterday, this lever-action rifle isn’t shipping yet but will be available soon.
This model 1854 is the production-grade version, distinct from the fancy walnut grade shown at the SHOT Show.
While it won’t be as expensive, the exact price point is still unknown.
Key features include a big loop lever, a flat trigger, a scope rail with a rear peep sight, and a brass bead front sight. The rifle holds 9+1 rounds of .44 Magnum and can also shoot .44 Special.
Lever-action fans should definitely take note of this new offering.
Note the large loop, a nice touch!
GunsAmerica will soon release a full review of the stainless model 1854. For more details of the production version, visit the Smith & Wesson website.
