This new Taurus reminds us more of the Walther PPF more than any other pistol, and the Walther is probably the unintentional progenitor of this Taurus. A combination of two things set this Taurus apart: its 0.95 inch thinness and its lever safety. No one else offers that combination to our knowledge. The Model 709 in 9mm, features a double action, 7+1 shot capacity and fixed sights.
