This early CSMC shotgun was assembled using all Winchester original parts. The receiver is adorned with game scenes on both sides. Left side has a strutting pheasant while the right side is grouse in a field. A retriever with quail is on the trigger plate while the long tang trigger guard features a beautiful setter on point. The remainder of the receiver, the trigger plate, break lever, forearm hardware, and barrel wedges are covered in extensive floral scroll engraving. The trigger is gold washed and the word "safe" is inlaid in silver. The forearm lug and barrel flats are jewel finished. Mounted on a beautifully figured and impressively grained piece of dark walnut. The straight grip stock is wrapped in fine multi-point checkering with an initials oval riding the toe line. The beavertail forend is 90% covered in the same multi-point pattern and features a contrasting ebony inlay. A high gloss finish highlights all the craftsmanship evident in this American classic. The original factory Winchester 21 box is numbered to the gun and a factory letter from CSMC confirming the configuration is included. The overall condition of the gun is excellent. 99% of the original blue finish remains and shows only light handling marks.
