This listing is for a full factory case of Winchester .410 gauge AA Sporting Clay Loads. Manufacturer was Winchester Olin of East Alton, IL, now located near us in Oxford, Mississippi. Their quality is well attested on skeet ranges and in target competition throughout the world. Our local clientele’s primary interest in these shells, however, has nothing to do with a clay target, but rather with certain venomous occupants of the Hatchie River bottomlands and adjacent hills here in what we call Tennessippi. These shells will perform reliably in any .410 gauge firearm, including the Taurus Judge, Rossi Circuit Judge, and Smith & Wesson Governor revolvers. Construction is Winchester High-Strength smooth plastic red hull bodies seated in .470 length brass case heads and 209 size primers. Powder is clean burning flake type, with AA HS wads that propel 1/2 ounce of #7 1/2 chilled lead shot out of a 25 inch barrel at 1300 feet per second, with approximately 800 foot pounds of muzzle energy. AA High Strength hulls are the world’s finest and strongest. Crucial for smooth ejection from any chamber, especially a revolver’s, their cases are uniform, smooth, and the correct diameter. These AA Winchester shells come 25 shells per box, 10 boxes to a case. We’re offering them by the case at only $10.90 per box.
