GR73000 The Taurus Tracker series of revolvers coincided with Smith & Wesson’s offerings of small size big bore revolvers with round butt grip frames. Taurus’s Tracker series comes in a wider range, everything from rimfire all the way up to .44 Remington Magnum. We give Taurus credit for a lot, and their horizontally serrated soft rubber grips certainly take the bite out of the magnums; the factory grips, however, sometimes give a rolling feel to the Taurus Tracker. Here is the specific remedy for that sensation: Hogue’s tried and true Monogrip. These fine grips are relatively easy to install, and they have stood the test among our hunting and law enforcement clientele now for 30 years. Factory Number is 73000, to fit Taurus Trackers model 415, 425, 450, 606, 445, 617, 627, 817, 970, and 971 among a few others. Replacement pricing on these grips in our area is upwards of $30 per set; and they aren’t that easy to find.
