Cylinder and trigger guard are 24 carat gold plated. Included are the original buyer's invoices dated 10-25-00, and 12-06-00. All tools are stamped "Sam'l Colt". Original gray boxes included. According to Dennis Russell's, "Percussion Colt Revolvers, Second Generation", Collector's handbook #5, page 103, these Officer's models were Type 2 Gold Plated fluted cylinders.
