Here is a Case XX USA with no dots, manufactured between about 1964 and 1969. The handle panels are Pakkawood, not bone; but many of the later Big-X trappers were paneled with the same material. Even though this Folding Hunter 6265 SAB has been used, we do not believe it has ever been sharpened. Even though light staining, spotting and scouring affect perhaps 20 percent of the Chrome Vanadium blades surface, both of them are 100 percent full width with no wear, and we believe this knife deserves an Excellent rating since it has not been sharpened. At any rate, photos should suffice for interested parties to judge finish grade for themselves. The folding hunter, Case's largest mass produced folder, measures 5 1/4 inches closed and the blades measure 4 1/4 inches from heel to point.
