It is finished in bright nickel and wears beautifully finished "Combat" finger-groove stocks. Features include the counter-bored ("recessed") chambers, wide target hammer, and wide/smooth trigger. As the dedicated S&W collector knows, the Model 19 with 5-inch barrel is very rare and highly collectible....However S&W factory records did not confirm that this revolver originally shipped with the 5-inch barrel. Regardless, it is a beautiful revolver that looks like it came from the factory exactly as it is. The nickel finish rates 99% with a cylinder turn line and only a couple of very minor handling marks. There is no rust, pitting, peeling or cloudiness. The stocks have a high gloss finish and are free of wear. The mechanics are in perfect working order and the bore is excellent. It comes in an excellent condition mahogany wood case with cleaning kit and screw driver. This revolver shipped to Camfour Inc. in March, 1977.
