This rifle has been modified to allow use of a left-side thumb safety. It works, though it is stiffer than I'd hoped. It is functional, though. I had to cut away a small divot from the stock to allow for it to fold over the new safety, and it still needs to be cleaned up. Everything else is perfect. The trigger is solid, and the rifle shoots incredibly well. After the installation of the trigger, I had the whole thing refinished professionally. I'd estimate the round count at 300. No more than that, for sure, and likely less. All told, it is a great gun, and one that isn't being made any more. The 5.56 AKs are drying up, and Arsenal's supply of SLR-106s is gone. The rifle is pictured in a case, but it will not come in this case. And I have the cleaning rod and a magazine, though they aren't pictured either.
