Description: Awesome RESTORED Colt 45LC SAA. With John Kopec Letter (Written before restoration) Restoration restored the weapon to its original 1874 condition. The serial number falls between an Artillery revolver and a Cavalry revolver. This revolver was manufactured as a US CAVALRY REVOLVER. The ordnance inspector was O.W. Ainsworth. Nearest serial number records were weapons delivered to Troop K, 8th Cavalry.

The initial restoration was performed by Alan Harton, Houston, TX. The final project was completed by Dave Lanara, Median, Ohio. Dave was recommended by Kopec. His work is magnificent! The grips were made from 140 year old oak! Beautiful period-correct bluing. Only 6 rounds have been fired through this weapon since the restoration. It has been stored in the family safe.
