All of the pistol numbers match the 980g designation. Originally, the mag for this version had no number. The two magazines with the pistol are of earlier [1923 type] Swiss marked with different numbers. It comes with a 1906 Swiss holster. With the engraving, I cannot confirm whether it is a byf 42 military or commercial. The only waffen proof I could find is on the left side of the toggle. Because it is a ghost image the bottom of the image is unclear. There are other proofs within the interior of the pistol but they do not come up in any Lugar book at my disposal showing standard proofs. The stocks are original walnut with the number "45" on the interior of each. There are no import marks. The safety shows "Gesichert" in the down position and the extractor shows "Geladen" on the left side. There is a "P.08" on the left side of the receiver. The 4 in. barrel is excellent with strong lands. PAYMENT OPTIONS- I only accept USPS money orders. Payment must be received by me no later than 10 days after the acceptance of offer.
