Includes Swarovski Z5 3.5-18x44P scope in Talley rings. As created by Borden Rifles, the Grand Slam is a series of 50 mountain hunting rifles that benefit Grand Slam/Ovis. This is the 2nd rifle in the series, serial GS02-50, and was auctioned at the GSO annual convention in Tunica, Mississippi in 2006. In keeping with the mountain hunting/sheep theme - this particular rifle is designated "The Stone" (others in the first four were Dall, Rocky and Desert). Condition remains about 99%, with only a bit of finish wear showing on the bolt handle and cocking piece. Hart #3 barrel is 25.5 inches long , 1.5 inches being an integral muzzle brake. LOP is 13.375. Weight, (empty, with scope as shown) is 8.0 pounds on a digital scale. Maker's test targets show three .5 MOA groups with 168-grain Combined Technology Ballistic Tip bullets. Rimrock stock. Only 60 rounds fired by original owner. Includes custom Americase aluminum single rifle case with the GSC/Ovis and the Borden logo embroidered on inner lid. Price firm.
