The lock and hammer is white metal that shows some surface blemishes/rust. The mechanism work fine but is a little sticky when you go to half cock. I suspect it can use some minor tweaking. There is some honest wood wear. A little surface rust around the muzzle. Notice the nice plains style bead work addition to the butt stock.A nice gun that had some shooting matches for sure.
