The small size allows the Kahr P380 to be an ideal concealed carry weapon. Due to its light weight and compact size, along with Kahr's reputation for reliability, the P380 makes for the perfect pocket handgun. This Kahr P380 is constructed from a black polymer frame, matte stainless steel slide, and textured polymer grips. Not found on other brands, the P380 black polymer frame features 4140 steel inserts molded into the frame in the front and back for added stringency and power. This P380 .75" slide is designed from solid 416 stainless bar stock and locks back on the final round. The Kahr P380 features a lock breech, modified Browning type recoil lug, and Kahr's six patents including the safe cam action found in all Kahr handguns. These features result in a micro-compact handgun with little felt recoil and quick follow up shots. The Kahr P380 has a 2.5" premium lothar walther match grade polygonal rifled barrel, allowing for higher muzzle velocities for hollow point ammunition than conventional rifled barrels. The P380 handgun does not have a magazine disconnect nor does it have double-strike capability. The P380 model features real sights, with drift adjustable, white bar-dot combat sights that dovetail into the slide with optional night sights available.
