According to the serial number, the gun was made in 1895. Octagonal barrel length is 26 inches. Bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. The barrel has some pitting as common with black powder firearms. The octagon barrel is mostly patina, with no major blemishes. There are a few minor nicks. The frame is case hardened, but most of the case hardened finish is worn away. Stock is in good condition. It shows some finish wear and a few small dings, but again the flaws are minor. There is one small sliver of wood chipped from the right side of the tang near the hammer. The sliver is about 1/16 inch wide. and about 1/2 inch long. The missing sliver is not very deep. The forearm is nice with a few light dings. Butt plate is patina, and in good condition. Shipping is $50.00 and includes insurance to the lower 48 states.
