Description: A perfect whitetail rifle for a recoil-sensitive shooter, and it's a 10 minute job to switch out barrels for calling some yodel dogs. This is a switch-barrel rifle in .223 Rem and 300 Whisper. The Broughton custom 300 Whisper barrel is installed. This barrel was chambered, threaded, crowned, bead blasted, and installed by Sharp Shooter Supply and has a 1:8 twist (cost new $445). New stainless barrel nut installed. It is identical to the factory barrel contour but not fluted. The 223 Rem barrel is the factory original blued, fluted 1:9 twist, and has the original round barrel nut. The rifle has a center feed detachable magazine in the camouflage factory stock. Two piece Weaver bases installed. The Whisper barrel has 14 rounds through it. The 223 barrel was never fired. Original MSRP - $999, generally sells for $749 new. You get two rifles in one for $750.
