LG2532 The 9422 Trapper is the scarcest and most desirable of the 9422 standard production series rifles. It only ran from 1996 until its discontinuance in 2000. Barrel length is 16 inches; magazine capacity 11 rounds of .22 Long Rifle ammunition. Construction is entirely blue steel including the receiver, a far cry from the copies on the market today, and classic Winchester bright blue finish that simply outclasses the few-and-far-between Marlin 39As. Forend and buttstock are also gloss finished, cut-checkered walnut, and slicker than the Marlins. This specimen comes to us from a local lawman’s collection. We do not detect any surface detractions. We classify it as Excellent, Near Mint. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves.
