That's why we're glad we ran up on a closeout on these Vintage Grip Company brand boot grips to fit the little Tauruses. While the reduction in butt length is only modest, the reduction in backstap and thickness is quite substantial with these over the original factory grips. Photo shows a pair on one of our Taurus 85 Ultra-Lites, before – with the original grips; and after – with these. They cut down on the grip size quite a bit, but on the downside, they increase felt recoil with +P loads.
