Mech VG plus works well, Wood VG plus with good wood to metal fit. Has a 24” Oct barrel with full mag, Original sights , the rear sight is a later type buckhorn sight and excellent Winchester markings. The receiver has an original dust cover and a strong 38 cal marking on the brass carrier. The top tang has the Model 1873 marking and the bottom tang has the serial#403136B mfg 1891. Metal overall has an aged grey brown patina finish with some fine pitting in areas.
