Here is an essential part for the Avtomat Kalashnikov rifle, its ejector, the left hand rail apparatus that stakes or welds into the left side of the receiver. It is the part, of course, that contacts the cartridge case head and causes it to flip out, or eject, to the operator’s right during a firing session. Manufacturer was a small Florida Company that collapsed when the hangover set in after the Industry Binge of 1994. Construction is low carbon content stamped steel, .058 thick; overall length is 3.845 inches; and the ejector proper measures .546 from the back of the rail to its point. Note that the lower tab is not bored, does not have a hole. This ejector is only for AK47 type rifles. It will not fit an SKS; Will Not Fit a Ruger Mini 14; Will Not Fit the Carburetor of a 1937 Ford Minotti Coupe. It will only fit a Kalashnikov type rifle that will accept a stamped steel receiver like this, in the dimensions we have listed. Installation will usually require the expertise of a competent armorer or gunsmith. We are neither competent nor gunsmiths; we do, however, know that this is an essential part for an excellent rifle, and a part that often wears out and breaks. It should be heat treated. We do not have any other parts for Kalashnikov rifles at press time, except for the complete Maadi Parts kits. All these parts are new and never installed, most of them do, however, have faint amounts of toning on them, as the photos show.
