This listing is for One forend, one of the forends in the photos. Photos show a collection of four genuine factory Remington Forends to fit any 12 gauge Model 870. These are correct configuration for Model 870 Police Specimens issued in the 1980s and 1990s; in fact, they came to us as surplus through a trade with the Prince George’s County Maryland Police Department, an agency known for its excellence in many areas, including weapons maintenance. These appear to have been removed, probably to make way for Sure Fire Tactical Forends. The darkest three are excellent, with minimal scouring; and the lightest colored one has moderate scouring, mostly on the edges of its muzzle end. Configuration is what we call semi-beavertail corn cob, since these are a bit larger than their 1950s and 1960s small corncob type predecessors. Construction is walnut stained hardwood. We do not believe these forends were ever issued. Buyer will receive one – or all, buyer’s call – of the forends in the photos.
