LOP 13 3/4" over 3/4" Decelerator recoil pad ... drop comb 1 3/8" ... drop heel 2 1/4" ... cast off 3/16" ... single white bead sight ... ejectors ... automatic tang safety ... double triggers. Barrel flats are maked "U*1" which indicates date of manufacture in 1976. The top of the right barrel is inscribed "Orvis Custom by Union Armera, S.L." and the top of the left barrel is inscribed, "Made in Spain". The side plates, operating lever, upper & lower tang, trigger guard and forearm harware all all beautiful color case hardened steel with intricate, detailed floral scroll and rose bouquet engraving. (Notice; the intense blues and oranges present in the coloring.) The trigger guard has gold inlaid "BE" initials. The straight grip English stock and splinter forearm are fashioned from beautifully figured European walnut with a dark rust color. Featured are wrap around checkering in a diamond pattern and dropper points. This item comes with its own green canvas and leather, locking take-down case. The accessories include a 3 piece hickory cleaning rod with leather satchel, bore mop, bore brush and two snap caps. The blue is 95% with the only wear along the rib.
