I'm going to carry two slightly smaller 9s going forward. The Shield is light and thin making it easy to conceal. Loaded with nine 135 grain Hornady Critical Duty rounds it weighs 26 ounces. The Shield is accurate and extremely reliable. It was cleaned in an ultrasonic tank with MPro7 and lubricated with Militec-1. My final clean included disassembling the magazines and running them through the tank then reassembling with a light coat of Militec-1 on the inside of the body, the spring and follower. This gun has a thumb safety on the right side and the laser sight has an ambidextrous switch. Everything you see in the pictures is included: • 3 eight round magazines. New the Shield only come with one 7 and one 8 round. The 7 round mag makes the handle too short and the gun more difficult to control • Custom SMZ quick draw shoulder holster hand made by Ken Null. I can draw the Shield, remove the safety, turn on the laser and fire 9 rounds in about 4 seconds.
