H. Heiser carved leather, lined holster. The Colt was shipped March 21, 1906, with seven other guns to Farwell, Ozmun, Kirk and Company, St. Paul, Minnesota. Farwell was a large hardware distributor in the late 1800's and up to mid-1900's. The mechanics are very good with the lock up tight and all four clicks. The bore is shootable, but shows some pitting, the rifling all clearly visible. This was obviously a working man's gun, but well maintained internally, and showing wear and overall shallow pitting mostly where the rear of the gun was exposed from a holster and in the elements. The grips are hard rubber and are in very good condition. All markings are clear and the screw heads are in good condition. Document copies and Colt's letter accompany the gun and holster. An FFL or C&R is required. Our prices reflect a 4% discount for cash or certified funds (Cashier’s Check, USPS Money Order – no Western Union or other type money order).
