Description: Very good condition WWII US military M1 Carbine that was built by Inland and is serial number 6232XXX. Gun is a CMP purchase and comes with original shipping box that has a written serial number which matches the rifle. Rifle is mechanically excellent and comes with three Inland coded magazines. Barrel has clear Inland markings and dated 9-44 for September 1944. Gun is NOT import marked and has original Inland triggerguard (marked INLAND), hammer (H.I.), slide (P in square), handguard (I.O), bayonet lug band (AI), and bolt (A.I.) Correct late adjustable sight marked I.R. CO. Stock is Saginaw, marked RSG. Metal finish is nice original gray parkerized showing only a little normal wear. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Stock has beautiful original finish and shows some normal handling marks. Underside of wrist has painted and stamped rack numbers. Left side of oiler cutout is marked RSG. Low wood, four rivet handguard. Rifle is complete with correct original oiler, sling, and stock magazine pouch that is nicely marked and dated 1943. A nice example of a classic WWII M1 Carbine that will make an excellent addition to your collection.
