According to the serial number, 4963xx, the gun was made in 1960. Barrel length is 26 inches. Bore is bright and shiny with very strong rifling. Bluing on rifle is at least 98%. There is a very light scratch on the barrel that is very negligible,and a light wear mark where the base was mounted to the top of the receiver. Other than these two spots, the bluing is mint. Front sight with the hood, rear sight, and the sling swivels are still on the rifle. Floorplate and trigger guard are 99%. Stock is mint with just a few small, light, insignificant dings. These minor dings did not break the finish of the stock, and a are mostly noticable when the angle of light is right. Butt plate has a few scratches, but none very deep. The condition of this rifle is really exceptional. More pictures are available upon request. This is a consignment rifle. I am an FFL holder, and this rifle must be sent to an FFL holder.
