This sale is for a Springfield Model Of 1903. Low SN# Man date of 1906. Chambered in 30-06 .Comes with original Man.1906 16” Bayonet. Overall condition of the rifle is pretty good. There are some areas on the stock that show some handling marks, though, nothing is horrible. No cracks, no major scratches. Overall just normal wear. The metal work has areas of wear. Please see the pictures for a better idea of the condition of this rifle. Metal textured buttplate hides a small round storage compartment. Adjustable rear sights, fixed front blade sight. The barrel is marked with "USMC 8-41 (S)". The Bayonet is 16” Blade, 21” overall, marked with its own unique SN as well as SA (Springfield Armory) and the Flaming bomb US Bomb Ordnance Marking and 1906. This is a really hard to find combination with both the original rifle and bayonet. The bayonet comes with 2 separate sheaths, that both fit into each other. The first one is made of hard material wrapped in leather, the second is a canvas with leather tip. I have tried to include enough photos for you to get a general idea of every piece included in this sale. Please see all pictures before asking questions.
