Never the less, this .38 Special revolver has a 98% original factory blue finish. A 98% set of factory, walnut,checkered, Medalion grip panels. Perfect mechanical function with execellent cylinder lock-up. A fine bore with Sharp lands and grooves. The knurlrd hammer and serreted trigger are both color case hardened with with some small loss of the colors which is to be expected after fourty yeaes. The fixed sights are as usual a ribbed front blade with a square notch and groove rear sight. There is no cylinder ring on the finish which indicates that this has not been fired often, if at all. All that can easily be said for this Model 36 is that it is a fourty year old revolver that appears to be new.
