The enhanced barrel is marked on the left with "1852 Smith & Wesson 2002", and on the right with "1852 .45 S&W 2002". Each cylinder flat is lightly scroll engraved and enhanced depicting a handgun. The enhanced portion on the left side of the frame is inscribed "DANIEL B / WESSON" in a banner and with Wesson's portrait. The obverse is inscribed "HORACE / SMITH" in a banner and is also with a portrait. Revolver features top break action, round blade front sight with V notch rear sight, casehardened hammer, trigger, triggerguard, and latch. Equipped with a six round fluted cylinder and smooth fancy walnut grips with a cartouche reading "JFEC" on the left panel. Complete with a glass-lidded walnut presentation case with Smith & Wesson's Anniversary logo etched into the interior.
