Construction is steel slide assembly, internal parts, and trigger, all built into a high impact polymer frame. Type is blowback semi automatic pistol. This is a traditional double action variant. While the main safety feature is the firing pin block that guards against accidental firing if the pistol is dropped or bumped; the main safety lever safely decocks the firearm when the shooter decides to cease firing or put the hammer at rest after loading the pistol. It is a fully ambidextrous, lock-down safety. Caliber is 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum, 9x19, call it what you will, THE 9mm. Barrel is 4 inch stainless, six groove 1:10 rifling, with full length fluted steel guide rod. Sights are combat 3 dot, pinned securely into place on the slide, drift adjustable for windage. The P95 weighs in at a modest 27 ounces empty. It comes with a total of two old style high capacity 15 round blue steel magazinesl with blue steel floorplates. Grip thickness is a comfortable portable 1.25 inches thin. This is the latest version of the P-95 with pebble texture serrated grip frame and Picatinny light or accessory rail. Surface detractions are minimal, only faint amounts of edge wear with one faintly scoured area on the left side of the slide.
