Zastava has been making Mauser rifles for the Army since 1928. This is the same mfg selling rifles under the names of: Whitworth; Parker Hale; Interarms Mark X; and most recently Remington, as the model # 798. See Craig Bottington's glowing report on this rifle.....he liked it when he used it in Africa! This rifle is as new (99%+++) and fired only 10 rounds....too much for the former owner. Feed ramp and action polished....smooth as butter.....feeds all cartridges flawlessly. LOP is 14 1/4" with a beautiful stock that is free floated from the factory. 22" bbl and trigger pull of about 3 lbs. This rifle can be easily converted (opened up) to .458 Lott as this is the same action used for Zastava's .375 H&H. $795 plus $28 for basic USPS shipping; insurance is $2/$100 of value and strongly suggested.
