This is a bull-pup designed semi-auto only carbine with a 17.4" civilian-legal barrel and is suitable for security, personal defense or competition. This rifle and the .5.56 round are great for in home defense as this round does not over penetrate and the overall length of rifle is so short. The gas-operated system fires a wide variety of 223 Rem./5.56x45mm NATO ammunition fed from standard M16-style magazines. Fired cases are ejected through a forward port away from the operator. Because of the forward ejection the FS2000 is completely ambidextrous. This rifle sports both adjustable auxiliary iron sights and a top-mounted M1913 rail for mounting optical, electronic or laser sighting systems as well as two rails on side and one on forearm. The rifle has a clean/dirty switch that can be used for extended operation. I have never used it as I always clean my rifle after each use. An angled faced muzzle brake helps minimize recoil. I have mounted an NcStar 2-7X32E P4 Sniper Scope with rail on top and two on sides of the scope. The Scope is a black/blue reticle type. The iron sights can be accessed underneath the scope if desired. I have also mounted a hand grip on the forearm for added purchase and stability. The only limit to accuracy of this platform is found in the shooter. It will also be shipped in the original box.
