Description: This shotgun is NOT C&R Eligible. This is Norinco's tribute to John Moses Browning’s model of 1893, the first ever pump or slide action shotgun. This shotgun was manufactured in China and imported by Interstate Arms in Massachusetts. We have sold a good many of its mates locally over the past 20 years, and they are fine shotguns. This model is the 93 / 97, so designed and so stamped to keep its approved status for Cowboy Action shooting. The copy is better than the original, due to advances in metallurgy. All metal finish is faithful streaked bright blue. M&P Buttstock and traditional corn cob forend are 100% genuine American Walnut, just like the originals. Barrel is 20 inch cylinder bore, and capacity is 4 + 1 shells, 2 3/4 inch only. Weight is 6 1/2 pounds empty, and safety mechanism is a single action type hammer on the order of the original 1897 Winchesters. Design differences between this copy and the originals are minor. The magazine tube secures with a split ring removable barrel lug. Unlike the original, this 93 / 97 has a disconnector mechanism; after each shot, the operator has to release the trigger; you can’t hold the trigger down and fire it simply by cycling the slide like you could an original 97 or old model Ithaca 37. No owners of these that we know of have held their right hand too high more than once; the bolt will bite you if you don’t hold that trigger hand low. The 1893 and successor 1897 were, of course, the platform for the 1897 Trench Gun of World War I. As it presently stands, there will be no more of these or of the 97T Norincos coming in for at least Four More Years. Replacement pricing on a mint condition original Winchester would probably approach $5,000.00. The Interstate 97T Trench Gun copies are now fetching $600 apiece in some places. We’re offering the 1893 / 97 in the photos, however, or one of its identical mates, each for only $ 459.00. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
