Description: This revolver was manufactured by Armi San Marco in Italy some time, by our estimate and knowledge of its exclusive owner, in the early 1980s. It was imported by Connecticut Valley Arms, now located in Norcross, Georgia. It is not, or at least no longer, a black powder revolver. It is, for purposes of Federal Law, a modern handgun, subject to all Federal laws governing any other revolver. We are unclear when the original configuration was altered, since the barrel sleeve, arm insert, and cylinder are not marked anywhere. We have entered it in our A&D book as ASM/CVA. It is not C&R Eligible. This conversion .22 Revolver is in Very Good condition finishwise by our estimate, and excellent mechanically. There is light to moderate surface pecking and pitting on the exterior area of the rear of the barrel piece, and mill marking on the cylinder face, which indicates to us that CVA nor San Marco executed the cylinder conversion. Blue is strong on the lateral surfaces of the cylinder and forward areas of the barrel. Arm has a nice brown patina. Hammer and trigger retain most of their original color case hardening. On the frame, only the main hammer anchor pivot screw head shows stress, and that is very moderate. Of the four screw heads on the underside, only the three forward screws show stress, and that is moderate as well. Brass frame has a nice tarnish-y patina, with slight difference in corloration for the conversion cylinder shim piece and firing pin housing. Grip panels retain an excellent glossy finish with about 20 percent light to moderate pecking or scuffing. This conversion revolver is Excellent mechanically, and the bore and cylinder chambers are clean and excellent as well. Trigger pull is a very light 2 ¼ pounds; never fear, neither we nor the sole owner of this revolver have allowed any dry firing, and the rear cylinder face is not pecked up at all, as the photo shows. The way this neat little conversion works is that the brass plate, visible between the cylinder and the frame facing, constitutes a loading aperture, and the revolver loads and unloads on half cock. The loading lever contains an ejector rod. This is only the second or third of this type revolver that we have had in our store over the past three decades or so. In some SCV Camps and reenactment venues, it will pass admirably as a reenactment piece, and Remington at least still loads black powder blanks in .22. We’re offering it for only $ 379.95

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
