Marked "Weatherby Custom" in a ribbon on floor plate, this rifle was made prior to 1995 (marked "South Gate". Serial number is H2213XX. Heavy 24-inch plain barrel has a removable muzzle brake for a total length of 26 inches. Both the bolt body and follower are jeweled, and the bolt knob is checkered. Forend tip and pistol grip cap are rosewood, Stock is fine walnut with straight figure through the critical area for strength. Buehler mounts are included. Other than a small (.25-inch) safe ding where the recoil pad meets the stock on the right side (see photo) the rifle is mint and has never been fired. Price is firm.
