One of the last of the original 1903 Models. Production of simplified 1903-A3 variant soon commenced by Remington at SN 3,34x,xxx.

Barrel marked R.A. 10-42 w Ord. Bomb stamp.

'03 straight wrist stock w R.L.B. inspection cartouche, and crossed cannons logo. P in circle behind trigger guard, w ' S ' below. Exc piece of straight grained walnut w no cracks or chips, and minimal handling / arsenal dings. Four small stamps fwd of floorplate, incl. 5-pointed star - see photo

Most parts bear letter ' R ' Remington stamp : Front sight hood ( also marked " US"), forend cap/bayonet mount, rear sight base and ladder, saftey, bolt & bolt collar, etc.
