Description: Taurus has made a pretty good sized ripple in the firearms market with its Judge series revolvers introduced in 2005. To many of us, this the most attractive variant of the Taurus Judge, the Duo Tone. Manufacturer is Forjas Taurus S.A. of Porto Alegre, Brazil. Importer and warrantor is Taurus International of Miami. Type is traditional double and single action revolver. Construction is all steel metal, with matte blue finished frame and barrel, and with satin chrome steel cylinder, .400 semi-target serrated spur hammer, matching stainless .400 smooth faced combat trigger, and beveled low profile serrated thumb latch. Cylinder is 3 3/8 inches long, and the revolver measures 10 inches overall. The nominal caliber, of course, is .45 Colt, and the bore is indeed rifled as required by the NFA Act of 1933. The forte of this revolver comes with its ability to chamber both 2 1/2 and 3 inch .410 gauge shotshells. From our experience, the big three US Made shells work flawlessly, Remington, Federal, and Winchester; while there have been some problems with extracting Italian, Czech and Turkish made shells. This revolver is 5 round capacity; 29 ounces empty with center of gravity at the front trigger guard junction. It has highly absorbent and pliable factory ribbed rubber grips, fixed notch frame integral rear sight with high-visibility high visibility fiber optic front sight that is encased in steel and dovetailed into the barrel. Safety features consist in the firing mechanism working with flat faced hammer against a floating firing pin like its S&W Governor offspring, and with a transfer bar that requires full depression of the trigger before the firing pin can contact a cartridge primer. It also has Taurus’s innovative hammer lock inconspicuously seated and furnished with two keys. Taurus factory number is 2-441031DTMAG. It appears that this variant is, sadly, discontinued. This revolver comes in its original factory box with its wrapper, instruction manual, two keys, grip removal wrench, and statement of factory mechanical warranty. This revolver is what we call a demo, it has served with Taurus’s sales force as a rep’s sample, on display duty at trade shows like the annual SHOT show in Las Vegas with other showgirls. From its GN753000 range serial number, it was manufactured in 2013. Surface detractions are minimal to moderate, only faint amounts of edge whitening and cylinder rotation marking, as the photos show. We rate it as excellent in Box, 90 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. We do not believe it was fired more than 20 times. Note the finish disclaimer on the box. This revolver has not been refinished, and it does not need it. If it gives mechanical problems, Taurus will cover the repairs, but they will not do finish freebies on this revolver. Replacement pricing on 3 inch chambered Judges usually exceeds $600 per unit in our area, and they aren’t easy to find, even at that. We’re offering the Duo Tone 3 inch by 3 inch Judge in the photos, however, for only $ 419.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of California or Massachusetts.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
