Description: Remington Model 1858 New Model Army Revolver, .44 caliber. Blued finish, brass triggerguard, with walnut grips. Exc condition, appears unfired. Minor handling dings - see photos Standard 8" octagon barrel. Fine quality pistol, exhibits high standards of fit & finish. Mfr lettering thoughtfully stamped unobtrusively under loading lever on the bottom of the barrel : two proof marks, then " ASM BLACK POWDER ONLY CAL 44 MADE IN ITALY " , then a 5-digit serial no.

The only other markings are proof marks on the bottom of the frame, forward of the triggergd assy. Exc trigger pull.
